Chase, Bren, Jinja, Dax, and Beyal... our heroes of Team Core-Tech, come face to face with members of the Forge Resistance: Drezz and the Punk Monks. These baddies are working for their evil boss, Professor Tallis, in obtaining a very destructive Wild Core Bomb. This thing has enough power to level an entire city. Team Core-Tech is on the trail, but before they can win back the bomb, Drezz sets it off and our heroes barely make it out alive... unfortunately, Bren’s Monsuno Quickforce isn’t so lucky.

Chase and Team Core-Tech must stop Professor Tallis and his Forge Resistance from their ultimate plan... to put a Mega Wild Core Bomb on a rocket and fly it into Westward City. Millions of innocent lives will be lost unless our heroes can stop them! After intense fighting, Bren launches Neo-Quickforce and saves the day on the ground while Chase puts himself in the rocket in order to jettison the bomb harmlessly into space… only to return to earth in the arms of Lock, his Monsuno... the protective shield barely holding as they burn back down and crash land near the city they just saved.

Medea and Team Darkspin are following Chase Suno and Team Core-Tech as Medea has a new, secret Benefactor. Not Eklipse. Someone new... and he is having Chase followed so that Chase can be tested! Team Core-Tech is out looking for meteor fragments and data on Monsuno Essence for Dr. Jeredy Suno's important, world-saving work. An epic battle ensues which only gets more epic as the secret Benefactor shows up... with a Core all his own and creates a Doppelganger Lock!

On the trail of a big cache of S.T.O.R.M. controlled Monsuno Essence, our heroes walk into a trap set by a new group of Monsuno Controllers: S.T.O.R.M.'s Strike Squad! These juvenile delinquents have been handpicked by Charlemagne and Commander Trey.

Dr. Klipse wants to recreate the experiment of Jon Ace/Toxic Ace with an unwilling subject: Dax! It's something of an old score he wants to settle with Dax. Dr. Klipse hires Dom Pyro to capture Dax and bring him in alive. Dax doesn't go down without a fight but loses! Dr. Klipse, Hargrave, and Dom Pyro are in attendance as Dax is placed into a tank and is about to be experimented on. The rest of Team Core-Tech works hard to find and save Dax before he becomes Toxic-Dax (even though both Bren and Jinja joke that he's pretty toxic already).

Dr. Klipse reveals his latest experiment, Number 6 (a teenage clone of himself), and sends him out to destroy Team Core-Tech. While out hunting Punk Monks, Chase and the others discover Six and invite him along (unaware of who he truly is). Meanwhile, Chase has visions of his mother in some kind of warning. While battling the Punk Monks, Six is forced to choose between his father or his new friends. He picks his father, and Chase has to use a double Monsuno attack to win. The others are mad, but Chase understands Six was only trying to help his "father" and lets Six walk...this time.
07 "Mirrors" ("Crunch Time")

When Chase wakes up alone in a strange, apocalyptic landscape, he's freaked out. He's even more freaked out when he finds himself battling a Clone Monsuno of Lock! Chase is absorbed by some greenish Shadow-Ghost becoming the enemy as the rest of Team Core-Tech must get to the bottom of this mystery. They must work to save our planet from being exploded and destroyed by the Monsuno Essence at the Earth's core. Beyal must choose between the lives of all Monsunos and the lives of his friends. He pushes the button destroying all Monsuno Essence...and all Monsunos...thus saving the world from destruction! Luckily, this wasn't real. It all takes place in Virtual Reality created by Dr. Jeredy Suno. But, could our team destroy all Monsuno Essence in real reality? Tough call.
08 "Lynchpin"

Dr. Klipse is after Lock as the Lynchpin. Jeredy must tell Chase why Lock is so special. It was the way the Core was designed...and Jeredy put in a strand of Chase's hair. Chase and Lock are like brothers! Lock is the one Monsuno to bridge the gap between humanity and Monsuno. He's the only hope they have to truly keep Monsuno Essence from destroying the planet. Chase asks how? Jeredy doesn't it, scientific intuition. Unfortunately, Dr. Klipse sets a trap using Six as bait with Dom Pyro and Hargrave up his sleeve for good measure to steal Lock and exact revenge on Chase and Team Core-Tech in an epic battle.

Tracking down Drezz and the Punk Monks and their Forge Cores, our heroes pick a fight looking for information regarding the manufacturer of these Forge Cores. They get some intel, but before they can act upon it, they are attacked by five mysterious figures. Even if our heroes don't know it, this is the Hand of Destiny...five evil despots "leading" the Five Tribes of Destiny...and they want Chase Suno alive and their prisoner!

Team Core-Tech loses with the help of Eklipse Battle Boosts. Dr.Klipse uses his new tech to lure S.T.O.R.M. and Professor Tallis to Coastal City where he plans to unleash a mutation gas. Team Core-Tech must stop him with their own boosts, Strike Gear.

Beyal has a vision of Master Ey in trouble. Team Core-Tech races to his aid only to find One-Eyed Jack and the Desert Wolves seeking to find asylum from S.T.O.R.M.. Bekka reveals a past that links her to Beyal's. Jack, under Charlemagne's mind control, seemingly kills Master Ey, causing Beyal to become enraged.

Charlemagne figures out that Jeredy is traveling on the train lines and sends on the S.T.O.R.M. Strike Squad to capture him. Dr. Suno calls in Chase and Team Core-Tech to stop Strike Squad before it's too late. In the end the train transforms into a submarine, annoying Charlemagne so much that she breaks her tiny little whip.

Dr. Suno has a virtual reality trainer to help Chase and Team Core-Tech perfect their combat expertise. When Droog causes the them to get stuck in the virtual world, the only way out is to win or be trapped forever.
