Old Man Queeg debuted in Eye, where he accidentally unearthed a Wild Core while catching fish with a net. Queeg then watched as the Wild Core was hit out of the net and began spinning after hitting the deck of Queeg's boat. The Wild Core's activation destroyed Queeg's boat, but Queeg was eventually rescued by S.T.O.R.M. Soldiers and taken to Coastal City's storm shelter. There, Queeg encountered Team Core-Tech and explained to them what happened with S.T.O.R.M. and the Wild Core.
